We have the Magic Elixir!

REFLECTION: “Many people in the First World live in very stressed environments of big cities, terrorist threats, natural disasters, high crime rates. We have the magic elixir! Victoria Falls Zimbabwe is a vibrant and extraordinary microcosm – a little economy all of its own that has an unchallenged record of safety and friendliness. And we have created and delivered more than 15,000 people, in 500 corporate groups over 15 years, who know this to be a powerful and memorable fact. And they continue to experience this reality – Carlsberg Poland & Credit Foncier France groups were here in March 2006.” – Glen Byrom, Founder Green Route DMC.

Fuel for Africa!

South African tourists who prefer to drive to Victoria Falls, via Hwange for a safari, are assured of fuel. Innovative industry players at the Falls have banded together and keep 60,000 litres of fuel available for bona fide tourists, at a price equivalent to that in the region.

‘Big Five’ in the Falls

Wildlife enthusiasts have another good reason to go to Victoria Falls! For the first time in 20 years the area can lay claim to playing host to the Big Five of Africa, following the translocation of four rhinoceros to the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve.
The four rhino were transferred from a conservation sanctuary elsewhere in Zimbabwe and include a male, called Shungu, and three females: Nduna, Buster and Bambi – the latter pregnant and expected to give birth early in 2007.
The Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve surrounds the Stanley and Livingstone Hotel, and is operated in conjunction with activity provider Shearwater Adventures. Numerous safari adventures will be on offer – allowing visitors to really enjoy the new arrivals!

A View for ALL Seasons

FALLS FACT: The most exquisite and extensive view of the Falls is on the Zimbabwe side – 70% of the vistas are witnessed from many viewpoints from the Zimbabwe rainforest. And the view is never bone dry as the Main Falls thunder 365 days of the year!
